The National Construction Authority will host the revamped International Construction Research Conference and Exhibition (ICoRCE) on 7th to 9th November 2018 – at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC).
The conference and exhibition will bring together over 1,000 delegates from 25 countries to KICC, in the biggest construction research conference and exhibition in Africa.
ICoRCE is a culmination of the National Construction Week, which is a series of events that take place across the country to promote the construction industry – attracting over 7,000 visitors.
The National Construction Week, which is organised by NCA, also coincides with The Big Five Construct East Africa that will see over 200 exhibitors showcase their services and products at the same venue.
Under the theme, ‘Harnessing the Potential of the Legal & Institutional Framework for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth in the Construction Industry’, ICoRCE provides a platform for the dissemination of construction research, which assists the Authority in the formulation of industry policies.
Participants should expect to generate constructive business leads in Kenya and gain access to African construction industries through exposure to a large pool of construction stakeholders in East Africa.
ICoRCE 2018 will also provide an opportunity for industry players to keep up with construction trends, by learning from experts and industry peers.
In addition to the research conference, Government agencies and departments within the building and construction industry will be stationed under the Kenya Government Pavilion – providing information on government services required by potential investors to access the industry in Kenya.
There will also be a Construction Industry Business Forum and Networking Gala Dinner, an occasion that presents a prime opportunity to foster business partnerships.
ICoRCE has also organised site visits to major ongoing construction projects across the country.
